I'm a documentary filmmaker based in Paris, currently completing my studies in documentary cinema at ESEC, with a background as a JRI (video journalist).

My work moves between three things I keep returning to: family memory, music, and archives. I'm drawn to what old photographs, forgotten letters, and film reels can tell us about the people who came before us, and to documentary as a way of listening rather than explaining.

I grew up between Rio de Janeiro and Nice, and that in-between shows up in my work : an ear tuned to MPB, Tropicália, and bossa nova, and an eye shaped by the essay film tradition of Chris Marker, Agnès Varda, and Chantal Akerman.

Alongside my film work, I shoot analog photography and Super 8, and I'm slowly building an archive of my own : research, images, and notes that feed back into the films themselves.
